What a blessing that your dad hasn't lost his ability to function even through the paralysis ! As a former nurse, I have seen much worse recover completely through simple faith and determination. I'm sure your dad will be "that type"...he sure sounds like it !

My thoughts are with both your parents and I pray they will enjoy more years of health and happiness. I also pray for your strength and peace, especially at this time.
