If you know anything about God at all you either learned it from the Bible or from someone else who learned it from the Bible. If not, then what was your source of knowledge about God? Voices? What is the standard you use to discern the voice of "good" and "evil" the "voice" of God or Satan? In fact, what is your standard to decide any spiritual issue? If there is not a final authority, then MAN becomes his own authority, for what other authority is there other than that of God or man? Now God gave us the freedom of choice so it is up to us to choose what will be our final authority the words of man or the words of God, and for many centuries choosing the words of God meant choosing the Book known as the Holy Bible. Apparently, your choice is "voices". According to the old story a lady referred to as Eve listened to a "voice", the voice of a serpent...."Yea hath God said?"...she began to listen to the words of the serpent,doubted what God had told her, believed what the serpent told her, ate the fruit and you know the rest of the story.. think about it...she could have eaten from the Tree of Life....and chose instead the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil...the tree of death. Satan has used the same question for thousands of years...now he is using it on you.

Yes, Kurt, this is the God I worship...the God who has " taken people out" simply because they disobeyed His word...after all, we are His creation and He can do whatever He wants to do with us including "taking us out" but He is also the God of grace who loves His creation so much that He died to save them from their sins... or at least that's what this Book tells me.

To answer your question if God is upset about the way we are spreading His word...yes, I believe He is upset, because what we find out in the world now is not the spreading of the gospel or the teaching of God's Word but rather the doubting of His Word and replacing it with the opinions of man...to put it another way..."Yea, hath God said?"...sound familiar?

You are right...GOD doesn't need this book...but MAN does...for it is the tool that God chose to teach man about Himself...and since He has provided this tool I personally will use it and refrain from listening to "voices" whispering in my ear. See, God doesn't need to "whisper in my ear" He has written it all down for me to read!!!...He has done the same for you. "Let God be true...but every man a liar."....Who or what is YOUR final authority? See also Psalm 138.2.

Have another good chuckle on me! But laugh as you may...I KNOW where I stand...I have NO doubts...My final authority is the Holy Bible, the inerrant,infallible,unchanging Word of God.
