I have read the responses that I have received and chuckle. I have that the King James Version was a joke, someone telling me that the King James Version is the greatest thing since God….some saying that these people who wrote, wrote too their constituents, as to what they saw. I checked out many of the sites I was told to look at and some of the people who responded to the questions that were asked of them used words such as: It could mean…Let’s look at this side of the question….maybe it could be taken as this…what it really means is….in essence they have no idea at all as to how to answer the questions. They are answering the questions in a manner that they don’t have to remove themselves from their comfort zone. I was even asked what was going on in my life and that I had better get it together….in so many words. One of the sources that I researched stated that if the bible was the infallible word of God, then there would no misunderstanding of its meaning. Each of us would be in agreement as to what was being presented. So many times when questions are asked the people responding will pick and choose what they feel comfortable responding to and over look what is uncomfortable for them. One of the first questions that I asked myself in my “I need your help..” was: “I started questioning if God was trying to tell us that he wasn’t pleased with the way we have been trying to interpret or spread his word and wants us to listen to what he is offering us right now”. Not one person addressed that statement. While praying, studying and talking to Susan last night, it came to me; do we really need this book called the bible to believe in God? Is the god in this book, really the god that created us, wants the best for us and we are to worship. With as much destruction, death, raping and murdering of innocent lives that have been committed by people in gods name and by this god himself, within this book, is this really what God wants from us? Has God in His own way been trying to whisper in our ears, that you and I need to remove ourselves from this book and start listening to what He is really saying. I have another question, why would, as was responded to me: “With the power at His disposal, let me assure you that if God were on an "ego" trip this planet, universe, and everything in it would have been gone long ago!!!” God destroy “this planet, universe, and everything in it..” just because “WE” question this book? Is this the god you would want to worship if this is all it would take for him to remove you and me with the snap of his fingers? I was telling Susan last night, that it was amazing where God was leading me as I researched these questions. One of the verses that was whispered in my ear was: Proverbs 18:17..”The first to present his case seems right, till another comes forward and questions him”. As to my own question, I don’t think God needs this book to show you and me the way to a life that He wants for us. We just have to listen to what He is whispering in our ears and follow Him. Now don’t forget Satan also whispers in our ear, but it is you and I that make the choice as to which ear we are listening to. He will never leave us, no matter which ear we chose to listen to…wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could realize that when God whispers in our ear, it is usually for us to step out of our comfort zones and proceed along the path that He has chosen for us….whereas when Satan whispers in our ear, it is usually for us to stay within the comfort zones that we have created within ourselves, so that we will loose sight of where God really wants us to go.

God Bless
Pastor Kurt
