The teacher you refered to is a very wise man. The sound basics of the Apostle's Creed are the very basis of our faith. Many other side issues we can discuss and debate, but they do not necessarily have to be divisive. I personally give my Christian brothers and sisters a lot of latitude of debates such as Pre-Trib, Mid-Trib, Post-Trib, submersion, sprinkling, and the list goes on and on. The enemy of our souls loves it when the debates cause our love for each other and the world to dwindle as our necks stiffen and the veins pop out.
