Subject: SAME BATTLE DIFFERENT STRATEGIES

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

You know, I was thinking just today about how the "body" of Christ is moving much in paralell to the military.

Let me explain; We used to battle (WWII) with gathered or mustered fronts, for a forward asult. The church was the same. You would see the core point of advance coming from either Pastors, or evangelists spear heading a move of God.

Yet now (UCMI being a great example) we are everywhere pockets of resistance and advance in the enemies territory.

Oddly this is a reflection of our modern war tactics.

People are either forming, home churches, cell groups, or
networks, and leaving the dry places.

It's like seeing an old military base, empty. These are the churches that have refused to allow the Holy Spirit, to rule in presence and movement.

This however, places us in a posistion, for even greater responsibility. Not only in the working of the Word, but in the caring for the saints in the field of spiritual battle.

Pray for "more" boldness.
Pray for "more" wisdom.
Pray for thick skin and a tender heart.

We're in the water. Let's make some waves for the Lord!

It is hard to express all the many blessings this ministry has not only provided, but as a point of base camp for warriors in Christ Jesus.

Keep praying for UCMI, it's Pastors, and its Pastors' Pastor brother Steve. We "are" on the move....

Thank you again brother Steve for your stand, your commitment, and your heart and love for the Saints.

I.H.S.

Rev. Mark McManus
