Dear Brother:

I am glad for your ministry and the work you do. This is why we are ordained in the first place. Yes. God ordains. Who disputes that? But I think it a small thing to give ($1.00 a month, even,...there is no set amount) to UCMI to help maintain and develop its purpose. Yes. There is a cost for printed materials...but you don't need them to be considered ordained...I do not recall UCMI saying one needed to have these and you will be duly ordained and registered free of charge. I have seen scripture that could be used to support or quash the concept of tithing. UCMI is one of the few legitimate ordination ministries that will provide free, alternative (no seminary required) minister's licensure. It is not in the business of selling phoney degress or any thing like that...just look at the quality of what it offers. It never ceases to amaze me how folks will take issue with sending even $1.00 to support a covering, one that they say they are affiliated with and freely invoke to bring credibillity to their ministry, yet, just won't support with even $1.00 a month. Yes. The Lord does know what is in a man's heart. Who disputes that?
