Another question:

Brother, I am not sure what you mean by "association" with UCMI. Are you ordained by this ministry or not? If you are ordained by UCMI, then consider the following:

Quote: "I’m very sorry, but we at IHOPE do not agree with the “Annual Ministerial Reports” request of UCMI ..."

Why would any minister holding ordination with a covering object to providing that covering with an annual report regarding his or her ministry activities? I don't get that at all. If one seeks ordination with a covering, uses that ordination and expects that covering to "vouch" for one but then will not provide a simple yearly report of activity, I don't get it. Yes. The Lord ordains, who questions that? What UCMI does, as with any church, is provide recognition and credentials for the needs of man's world, that's all. And if people seek this recognition then say they won't answer a few questions a year to the covering, I just don't get it. The requirements of UCMI as regards the yearly report is far less than most denominational churches. It took me 5 minutes to complete and send my annual report...the process was user friendly. I am in favor of this annual report as I want my covering to maintain its integrity and seriousness of purpose...that is what UCMI, if I may say so (not meaning to tell Bro. Steve his business), is trying to do. I congratulate UCMI for taking this step. The alternative would be to seek ordination with a questionable Christian ministry or a melting pot like the ULC (which will ordain anyone in 1 minute and sells useless titles and degrees).

Thank you UCMI for taking your licensure seriously! Thank you for helping me to not be ashamed of the ministry credentials that I hold. Thank you, indeed!
