Hello Bros. Mark and Steve,

In Genesis 12.2,3 God said to Abram..."And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will BLESS THEM BLESS THE, and CURSE HIM THAT CURSETH THEE:and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed."

I firmly believe that one of the reasons America has been so blessed is because of the way we have stood WITH the Jewish people and the nation of Israel. But now....it seems that we are withdrawing more and more of our support from her...mostly to win the approval and maybe even better oil prices from the other nations of the world. They have already withdrawn their support. I believe that if America withdraws her hand from Israel...God will withdraw His hand from America...there are many other events in recent history that have occured during the same time period that America was puting the "road map to peace" into place. I don't believe that they were just coincidences. They were warnings from God. I agree with Bro. Steve that this is the way we need to view the last two hurricanes, as warnings from God... not to abandon His people or try to take away HIS land... lest as a consequence He takes away ours! History bears out the fact that Israel has attended the funeral of every nation that turned against her.

God tells us in Psalms 122.6..."PRAY FOR the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee."

It is long past time for Americans to wake up and do what God says to do. Perhaps the events during the last few weeks will indeed wake Americans up.

As I side-light I found it interesting that as a judge was declaring the words " under God" from our Pledge of Allegiance unconstitutional....our President was on television declaring to the nation a National Day of Prayer for the victims of Katrina! Sorry folks...we can't have it both ways... Jesus told us that he who was not for Him was against Him there is NO middle ground!
