Subject: Seven Steps to a Deeper Life in Prayer

a. Ask the father in Jesus' Name (John 16:23), not for Jesus' sake.
b. Believe that you receive (Mark 11:24).
c. When you stand praying, forgive (Mark 11:25).
d. Depend on the Holy Spirit to help in prayer (Romans 8:26; 1 Corinthians 14:14-15).
e. Pray the prayer on intercession (1 Timothy 2:1).
f. Take time to pray in the Spirit to build yourself up (Jude 20; 1 Corinthians 14:4).
g. When you pray in the Spirit, pray to interpret (1 Corinthians 14:13).

Prayer based on the Word is prayer based on the Lord's will (Jeremiah 1:12, 1 John 3:22; 5:14-15).
