This is an area where prayer and "wise" counsel is critical.

One side would have us rendering a deliverance session because of hay fever, cursing the unbelief of those who would fall so terribly short on the faith spectrum as to succumb to medical resources in the flesh,

On the other hand you have the psyco/medical proponants that would cry Medicate at will! and sort it out later...

I have had experience in both of these realms, ministering horse sense biblical wisdom to some who needed medical intervention but were overcome with religious condemnation; and those who where hospitalized for chemical reasons, and we ended up having demonic manifestations while rendering deliverance.

So here's my spiritual 2 cents. You don't just go lay hands on someone suddenly with the idea of "I' need to get this person delivered. In that realm you HAVE to move in the UNCTION of the Holy Spirit, in order to FUNCTION in biblical order and victory.

I would take a hard look at the fact that she has had a family history of this. Yes..it could be a generational thing, yet it could be an organic/genetic disposition that is developing at this point in her life.

I heard a very known man of God say once: Rather than throwing off your glasses and stomping on them so as to move God to heal you is not fruitfull. a. God cannot be manipulated b. If you are not truly moved in the healing, don't try to fake it.

Instead.. Go..pray for healing and deliverance, trust God, and should he want an immediate healing, you won't be able to see out of your glasses anymore.

Check into the medical option of possible medication, but at the same time see if there has been any involvment either knowingly or unkowingly with her or her family in witchcraft. foriegn dieties, new age, or heavy involvment in the Masonic line. (That's a whole other story, but true) Including Eastern Star.
