Subject: Called? Burned Out? Info needed

To my brothers and sisters in the ministry. Has any of you experienced a ministry burnout or questioned your calling??? I know God called me when I was 13 years old, but coming from a non=religious home there was no support. I am a single dad of two boys, one just starting college one a high school freshman. The Lord has recently blessed us with a home and a new vehicle. But I am currently at a point where I seek God, but don't feel His presence. I am starting to question my calling, my own salvation, etc. I work full time as a police dispatcher with hours that at times prevent me from attending church on a regular basis. I work as a chaplain a couple times a month ministering to truck drivers at a local truckstop.

Should I take a step backwards and do other things while waiting upon the Lord? Please let me know your thoughts and any scripture guidance you can give. The Biblke says to bear one anothers burdens and this is the first place to go as if you don't know my burden you certainly can not carry them.

Bro. Scott
