Their breed was dubbed Wraiths, an' as such they were angelic yet were closely relatd t' the demons dubbed Vampires. Folding her white pinions 'gainst 'er side she smiled savagely, "My kind o' Demon," she hissed, "We are a war terra, thus we train accordingly. The work is grueling an' painful; but I believe ye' can withstand it. Alas, Ice Mist must be the one whom allows you to remain-for it is not my descision alone."
She was glad her brother Chrestomanci had not been the first to spot the newcomer- she was almost glad he was arquing with Windris at the moment. If the brute had spotted the newcomer first, Jah was sure there would be an all out war. Chres was not pleasent towards strangers.
