He was tempted to ignore Jah's pain, tempted to stay with Windris -but he did have some humanity in him..some. "Please Windris," he took her hands in his, his eyes fierce and sad at the same time, "Come with me, please, I'll kill her if I go alone. Please, understand..please." Jah nodded, realizing then that the child was coming...blood stained the sands around her as the child pushed itself instinctivly..trying to get from the womb. She let out a scream of pain, feeling as if her stomach was on fire. Chres was so tempted to stay with Windris, yet when his sister screamed..he couldn't allow his sister to die. The birthing would be hard, she had Arkados to help..but Arkados was not a Wraith. His eyes spoke it all as he gazed at Windris, "Please, dear one, please."
