I see that happening.

You regretted the choice of word "Pharisee", but the damage was done.

If one looks at the whole of your message, you weren't choosing one side over the other. Basically saying that all the "alleged" Christians should engage in more Christ-like behavior.

Now, why a Christian would take offense at that, and say you are choosing sides .. is another topic. One they best answer for themselves.

Cuz I don't wanna take sides here either.

There is irony here, but I'm afraid just you and me "get it" thus far. :)
