Nah, I'm not that interested. I mean, I don't need to study Greek to see that a God that commands entire villages be wiped out isn't a God of love.

Therefore, if God purges entire villages it is because of their impurities (wilfull sins against God) to prevent others from being contaminated. If God is fuzzy wuzzy love only then you would expect to live your life doing anything you want without any punishment and then expect God to reward you with eternal life at the end of this life. That is false teaching with a false hope, because the Bible doesn't teach any such thing. These teachings are to be exposed as false teachings not because the person God chooses to expose them is any better than the hearer, but because we are commanded to be a true witness to the true nature of God through His Word.
