Thanks for the response. I ended up using Eurocarparts and local vw dealer, however I,m in need of Tie-rod ends and TieRod bars, and definatly some bottom rad/engine hoses for this 28 year old motorhome restoration. Any ideas? - somebody said if I spoke German I might be able to get parts off the internet? (If I spoke German I'd already be on the beach on top of my towel - instead I'm planning a damp cold saturday on a groundsheet under the van in a breezy NWesterly!!) Zeich Heil!! Oh well nothing ventured - nothing gained...though the classic european surf safari seems a little further off today - maybe so0me of you guys might have a suggestion.
