Subject: polo 1.3 starts up and then dies Author: brian [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 11:47:22 10/26/06 Thu Could anybody help PLEASE. my son has just bought a polo 1.3 1995 model as his first car, the engine starts and reves to 1000 rpm, it then cuts out. i have tried the fuel pump and it is ok, i had to remove the stearing colume to get to the peddels so i could replace the braket as the cluch peddle had snaped off. the engine was ok before i did this. it is mow sending me daft becouse i can not sort it out. any help would be very welcome. all the best brian. p.s could it be the immobeliser.
