i own a mk3 golf gti 2.0 litre 8v on a 97 p plate. just recently, i went to start it up but it will not turn over! it seems to me that the electronic immobiliser has kicked in somehow but i do not know what to do. the engine wants to turn over but something is not clicking into place to get it fired up. when i try to start it up the oil light starts flashing so if this is a warning sign then i may have done something to the engine.i have checked the handbook to see what may be wrong but to no avail.if any one can help me out then i will be very grateful! you can send any info to gazmortz@fsmail.net. thanks again
