I just bought a 74 super beetle and need to get the seats out so I can explore moving the mounts back 2-3". Has anyone done this? I am 6'2 1/2 250lb 62 yr old male and need to get in and out better.

Bought a 71 super beetle new in 1971 and dealer made adjustment for us before we took the car out of dealership.

Now I'm much old and not much wiser.
