I have a mark 3 golf gti (8V) and I am having a few problems with it. Whilst on a trip upto the lakes it cut out on me, everything went dead and I was coasting over to the hard shoulder. It them started up again and I thought it might be something to do with my immobliuzer but I have since replaced it. Since then it is running fine but I am a bit scared of taking it on a long run and the garage cant find anything wrong with it. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how do I fix it so it doesnt cut out again.
