You can't teach a horse not to spook. You didn't need to anyway. A law suit can't be filed against a horse that injured someone. It is the law that you are not allowed to touch someone else's horse without asking, and by law the owner will tell you if the horse is mean or not. (i had to sign many contracts to buy my horses :P ) Chase squeezes with his claves, forcing the beast down. He catches his breath as he asks the horse to canter forward. He wasn't mad at the horse.
