Subject: Jellybeans

Rachel had her first scan today, and they told her she is 11 weeks gone, the baby is due 18 December, but she tried to describe what it looked like, and it sounded just like a little jellybean with arms that it was waving madly and a strongly beating heart, so we have both agreed that at the moment it's a little jellybean. It certainly won't be much larger than one. She is going to send me a copy of the scan so that I too can do the grandma thing and drool over my new grandchild.

I'm so excited.................
