It certainly is cheating Gilly. There are lots of websites that offer these dubious services. In this particular example they offer something "priceless" for "free". That should raise suspicions straight away. And the grammar is atrocious.

It's not so easy to cheat now. Most UK universities have software that can scan an essay or dissertation looking for sequences of words that match existing documents in vast online libraries and databases. Mind you, if you copy an older document that only exists in paper form you might get away with it.

When I did my recent dissertation the university provided extensive guidelines on avoiding plagiarism and made clear the consequences of disregarding them.

I've recently started some contract work reviewing and revising technical literature. Twenty hours a week till the end of the year. Interesting work and the pay is pretty good.

I'm still working on my book idea. An investigation of the real science and people that inspired the creation of a fictional scientist. Scandal and secret goings-on of a dark nature play a big part, of course! I've been working on it for about 18 months. It has become a passion, which is, so I've read, one of the key elements of a happy life. I think I agree.

BB
