Definitely agree with your summary of the difference between the two political parties. But a country might as well be impoverished if the money is stuck in treasury not doing anything especially if hospitals, schools and infrastructure are running down. If everyone waited until they had enough money to buy outright, say, a house, a car or a fridge; the world economy would collapse completely in a very short time. That's why a change of government is good, the Tories squirrel it away and the left wingers do silly things like increasing pensions, giving kids computer notebooks and giving every tax payer $1000 to spend locally in the hope it would save the country from recession.

Their policies are both important I just wish they would both stop point scoring and berating each other and work together to give us the best possible solutions to the important problems that are around today. Rant over (for a wee while anyway)
