From the comments I'm worried that people will think I am deceiving them, perpetrating a terrible fraud. Is the egg poached or fried? It was fried I tell you! If you look at the position of the numeral 7 on the plate/clock you will see at the edge of the egg a dribbling, an oozing, a tiny puddle of oil or grease. If it was residual water from poaching it would have diffused into the bean sauce, an aqueous medium with which it would have been compatible. But no! The oil or grease sits in splendid isolation like the droplets of oil from Deepwater Horizon spilling into the Gulf of Mexico.

Breakfast photography forensics - a new branch of scientific investigation. I rest my case.
