It's lovely, there's a proper tea room, and little summer houses and loads of benches scattered around. Try googling Gooderstone Water Gardens and you might find it. It's the sort of place that should be prescribed to people who need some peace and serenity. You occasionally get families with small children there, but they rarely stay as there is nothing there for children, no play areas or anything, as it isn't meant to be like that, just a place of serenity and enjoyment. We go there a couple of times a year, we can take Madam with us although she mostly has to stay on the lead until we get to our favourite picnic place and then she can go off for a while.
