Rachel has had a blood test to check to make sure she doesn't have pregnancy diabetes (standard check these days) and if she's fine then she can have the baby locally at Llandod, only 5 miles away, rather than at Hereford or Abergavenny, both about 50 miles away and not the placeto be driving to in the middle of December. I will be seeing her in just over 2 weeks' time anyway, when she will only have 6 weeks to go, as my son advised me nearly 2 weeks ago that he is getting married at the end of October, he gave us exactly 4 weeks' notice!!! Fortunately his father is fine about both David & I going, and I assume his wife will be there as well. We can be polite to each other for a day for our son's sake. The wedding is on a Fiday, so we will drive up on the Thursday, and come home on the Saturday, and stay at a B&B. Rachel & Dean will stay at Ian's place, so I will meet both my son's bride and the father of my daughter's child for the first time, so it will be quite an eventful weekend.
