It's the chemist in you.

What gets me are the labels on things like jars of peanut butter "made in an area where nuts are processed" or, even more surreal, "contains nuts", and then the labelling proceeds to tell you that it contains 95% nuts. What it doesn't mention are the number of nuts who decided that you had to put a label on the jar saying "contains nuts".

We had an old dog who loved squirty cream and would come running when he heard the tin being used. You can imagine his confusion when he heard a tin of shaving foam being used. Many's the time I have been lying in the bath, all ready to shave my legs, and the door has suddenly been barged open and he has arrived, lookin confused as to why I should have squirty cream in the bathroom but ready for his share. Possibly locking the bathroom door might have been the answer, but we very rarely do, only when we have company.
