Carrie loves water if it's a shallow river or pond but hates being bathed or any deeper in than her tum, and our last dog hated getting wet altogether and would try and hide if he thought you wanted to bath him, but he was small enough to scoop up and put in the bath with a non-slip mat for him to stand on and then hose him off with the shower. She is too frightened to even go up the stairs. I was quite amazed to see the little cat swimming around and felt quite sorry for it when it was struggling at one time to get out of the water although i did manage quite well on its own eventually.
