Feeling chirpy today. David has just had his 3-yearly gastroscopy and everything is fine and dandy. The company I am temping at are going to keep me on after the girl who has been on long term sick comes back, at least for a while to see what transpires which means staying with the agency. If she doesn't come back, the job is virtually mine for the asking (or so I have been led to believe), so we shall see what happens over the next few months. The Labour government raided the pension pot too often and David' private pension is only 10% of what it should have been, so can't afford to retire at the moment, plus I get so bored sitting at home with not a lot to do and not much spare cash to do anything anyway, so happy to be back at work. Don't laugh but I am working for a waste recycling company (primarily glass) and I can hear Daveski's chortles from here, the very thought of me being recycled seeing I'm now a golden (or rather silver) oldie!!! Cheeky perisher, just control yourself and keep your chuckles to yourself, Daveski!!!!
