Y'know, I have these two great characters that I've cooked up in my head and am starting work on a fanfic with. Since Buffy killed the Master they've become the eldest in Darla/Angel/Spike/Dru/etc.'s lineage. They're both almost a millenium old (one of them is exactly, one a little younger) and they've been lovers/mates for, like, that long. They were probably the closest people to Darla and Angel(us), and are the only ones that didn't abandon him when he lost his soul. I don't remember how exactly I thought them up, but i absolutely love them. The guy (Dante) is *extremely* protective of Darla - like a father/big brother - and will be not-so-happy w/ Angel about hurting her. The girl (Audrey) is just the sweetest person ever lol She's more grey than Dante, mostly out of boredom. I mean, after a millenium wouldn't you get bored of killing too? She still hunts, she's still evil, but she can be really nice to humans. I'm thinkin maybe she was a Slayer before the Master sired her, big Buffy confrontation where she whips Buffy's arse cuz Buffy gets cocky and thinks since she killed the Master she can handle any other vampire. Only she's never dealt w/ a Slayer-Vampire. Anyway, being as nice as she is Audrey wouldn't kill her - just prove the point that she's to be respected. And this is way long and off-topic. Anyway, in a perfect world it'd be Audrey who would tell Angel that his sould doesn't make him any better than anyone cuz she's very important to him in my little world lol
