Yeah, I agree. We'll wait and see.

DB did a few interviews today and the C/Aers are jumping about the one he did on KTLA, a WB affiliate I point out. I saw it (http://www.ktla.com/entertainment/media/wb/110501david-boreanaz.htm)and he basically was saying what they probably wanted him to say. Plus, from over the years, I've learned to not take DB interviews so seriously. Sometimes he'll just *say* things that in no way reflects what the show is portraying.

Here's the post I found at MBTV. David did an interview with a radio station and here's the poster's post:

Well, for whatever it's worth, this morning during a radio interview David Boreanaz said that Angel and Cordy are not hooking up.

The question was, "What about Cordelia? What's going on on that front?"
DB: "Nothing. She's just working her end of Angel Investigations."
Q: "Isn't there something going on there? Between your characters?"
DB: "No. It's not going there."

And I take it this radio station was NOT a WB affiliate.

But in the KTLA interview he mentioned C/A being "deeper" than B/A which could mean anything and I do agree they are now because C/A are friends. B/A really never were.

>I've never believed in C/A being brother/sister, but
>they do have a fantastic friendship, that could
>blossom into love. I think that right now, friendship
>is needed. Angel needs Cordy's support as a friend and
>darla really needs the support of friendly people

I like Cordelia and Angel's friendship but I feel a romance would technically ruin the show and also break some foundation in the Angel character.

Also for me personally, I just don't think they have romantic chemistry. In tonight's episode to me their chemistry was again lacking. But to me you have Julie and David just talking like in The Trial and the chemistry is amazing. The chemistry has to be strong and I just don't think Charisma and David have that kind of chemistry.

Very true.

That's why I think D/A would be so much more interesting. They can have conversations Angel could never have with anyone else.

Love Darla. :)

I think you are right.

The eppy was pure set up. They didn't explain anything about how Darla got pregnant. Wesley thinks it's possible that he misinterpreted the Shanshu as meaning that it doesn't refer to Angel at all, but to the baby and that Angel's mission was to create this child.

I don't know about the Shanshu prophecy thing but we do know that Lilah uncovers a prophecy specifically about the baby. This proves that Angel and Darla were fated to have this child.

>So do I. Darla was distant in this ep. Maybe next
>week, I can feel a little bit closer to her and maybe
>we can get a stronger read of what's going on inside
>her.

I think we will and I also think we'll get the brunt of it in Minear's episode.

Holtz is VERY pissed and looks more keen on torturing Angel more than anything.
