Well, at the start of the episode Angel and Darla took Holtz's baby right, Darla or Angel may have ate the baby. Now I know that Darla ate many babies, but why did they(writers) decide to show this baby. I mean they could easily show his(holtz) family dead, instead they showed the Angel and Darla deciding what to do with it and not show what they do with it. I think that scene was foretelling something. That the baby may not have really died but existed inside the creature that ate it, if it was eaten, Until now when it is close to the end of time or world or whatever.
