Subject: Teens buy more records ? With which money ? You think kids aged 12 buy more CDs than me ? LOL ! Young adults and adults buy more records when they like music (and some do invest a great part of their income : around $150 a month : can you do that ?). Maybe she should do dance-hiphop music because listeners are good buyers ! You would need worldwide sociological studies to prove it is true. And in my country, and elsewhere in Europe, no teen below 16 can legally work and earn money, so it would be difficult for them to spend the $150 a month I spend on CDs. But I imagine you are right on this : teens did make Britney Spears famous. But not Anggun. Whereas her songs are more interesting. Finally, teens accept with difficulty evolution in their fav singer music : Anggun did say she left Indonesia also because she felt she would'nt be accepted with a new style. I did say we need a study lead in each country. No you MAY be right, I'm asking for prooves for I doubt it, based on the knowledge of the common behaviour of teens in my country. BTW, here, teens don't have money hence COPY CDs. They buy far less ! Brennan, I buy records from people who haven't even made one hit single. And that probably will never.
