Ayla, it is unfortunate that Adrian's well-designed personal website has vanished. Adrian is a Toronto-based independent/freelance photographer & journalist. His website contained his professional data and it showcased his past and current works, both published & unpublished -- photos and articles which were divided into several subject sections. There were sections on Cambodia, Latin America, Anggun, etc. The section about Anggun showed his photos of Anggun and his article on her -- which at the time, last June, were still 'unpublished' materials.
So, in regard to your question, no, his website was not for Anggun's fans. It was primarily intended for publishers, editors, agents, etc., who might be interested in HIM professionally, to publish his works or to hire him as a photographer/journalist/writer.
Brennan, I think it's good that you respected his wish and rights by not downloading. :-) After all he did clearly state that they were unpublished copywrited materials and not for downloading.
Nevertheless Adrian should be more careful about showing his unpublished materials openly on the net without some sort of security system installed. But I think he has learned.
Yes it's nice to get free ticket and to meet Anggun. ;-) But the real intention was to have the results of that meeting published. So it's good that the article eventually managed to get published on US mag Gadfly. :-)
To Adrian, if you happen to read this, your photos and writings are fine works. Congratulations. ;-)
