I have always wondered whether a journalist overheard some Canadian Air Force people talking about their Aurora aircraft in one of the local bars. Put 2 and 2 together and got 5.

As far as I am aware there was one report in one newspaper about the "Aurora". That same report has been repeated Ad Nauseum in other papers and magazines but it is still the same single report that it repeated.
