With regard to the last question in the Canon case study: "How well do you think Canon will do in the computer indusry?" I find it difficult to answer because I don't know what an opto-electronic IC is! Canon are waiting for the IC era to arrive apparently. Where are we now, or where were we at the time of the case study? In the opto-electronic IC era or still in the ultra-LSI? How can I write about something if I don't know what I'm talking about?
