As far as I can remember, our record for people telling us to sit is as follows:

At a women's game early this season, we were standing in the final minute while every else but the band remained seated. A middle-aged man jabbed me in the back and almost came to blows telling me to sit.

At the UoP men's game, we were standing on the floor. We got there early so anybody behind us would be aware of us. Some students sat behind us and asked us to sit before moving. Other students sat behind us and proceeded to stare at our backs. We couldn't understand. Students behind us eventually stood in the last few minutes, and the entire gym followed in the last minute.

At the CSUN men's fiasco, we were again on the floor. Students behind us kept bitching at us until I turned around and yelled, "Shut the f--- up. Stand up if you can't see." Others continued to taunt us for not being as rowdy as usual. One student even told us not to distract the refs.

At the UCSB game in the 'Dome, two middle-aged Poly fans were the main precipitators of the complaints against us. Event Staff promptly came over to muscle us around.

At the LBSU women's game, Athletics staff threatened to kick out our entire group when I held up two signs, "Boo" and "BS," which combined to say "Boobs." Another staff member prevented me from holding the "Boo" sign under the basket during half-time warm-ups, and said we couldn't roll our signs up for use as megaphones.

Poly fans telling us to sit is bad enough, but when the students do it, I really get peeved. Athletics staff threatening to kick out the five rowdy students at a game where only 250 people attended is simply ridiculous.
