Yes, why were they out there galavanting around the universe without a magic decoder ring? And talk about jumping to the worst conclusion. They're dead, we're dead, they'll never find us, they won't see us, etc. Oh, thou of little faith!! Stop whining & lower the heat, lower O2 levels,etc. No emergency planning there.
