In reply to: Frances -- and why isn't T'pol wearing the same overalls as the rest of the crew???? Even Hoshi does! Actually, I kind of liked that Archer could bend the rules a little bit. We get to see how the Federation developes, Prime Directive is born, etc. Interesting to see what prompted all the wonderful lofty ideals of later Treks. Much as I like to think that I am a moral, upstanding citizen, I would consider putting Osama in an airlock. I think Archer is driven by the destruction on earth, very focused. It was a surprise in his character, not entirely unwelcome. I bet, though, that we see he has to draw back some of that intensity, because of unpleasant, unacceptable outcomes. I am enjoying this third season immensely!!

As for T'Pol, she isn't a part of StarFleet, therefore she doesn't wear the same uniform as everyone else. Besides TPTB wants her to stand out. -- talon, 23:26:53 09/21/03 Sun
