Subject: Okay, I know I'm weighing in late, but....

Did anyone else think that the Vulcan ship looked an awful lot like a Borg cube without the regeneration stuff and the green lights? The light flashes and sounds were even the same. Just thought it interesting how sets are reused. Also, once the decision was made to blow up the ship, WHY did they keep their weapons on stun? They had already made the decision to kill them all, why not increase the odds that the ENT crew would make it out alive?
Creepy Vulcans was also very good. I thought it was a good example for Archer to realize what exactly is under all of that Vulcan control. He definitely underestimated the potential for T'Pol to lose control.

[> I didn't pay too much attention to the vulcan ship. It all looks the same to me. Who knows they probably used sets from enterprise hallways and stuff. I think they decided to keep the guns at stun out of respect for who the zombies used to be and because T'pol was all nuts. -- Computer Geek! up very late also!, 03:01:26 10/10/03 Fri

[> Good point! Once the decision is made to effectively kill them all anyway .......... And *I* was wondering earlier on why they didn't "announce" themselves --- like "Hey! We're humans and we're here to help you!" --- they just started in punching the crazed Vulcans! Basically, I am getting the impression that they're making it up as they go along (the "Enterprise" PTB) rather than having a really cohesive overall game plan for what's going to happen. Just my impression. -- Michelle, 17:12:27 10/10/03 Fri

[> [> PTB probably didn't realize how hard it was going to be to make a show that was based on less technology. Some of the stuff they have doesn't even seem high tech considering RL technology is changing so fast. They need to think a little further ahead. -- Computer Geek!, 01:54:14 10/11/03 Sat

[> You think you're late jumping in.... I liked it except for several tech flaws, mentioned below & one I caught: They can scan the Vulcans at least 50 meters away, but suddenly don't use it when they drop into the secondary engine room????? And why is Archer the last one in the hole-does he kick heads better that anyone else???? -- Frances, 07:40:23 10/13/03 Mon
