I had originally thought that Tucker was looking for something with the MACO woman that he wasn't able to get from T'Pol,
but instead they were sharing a common bond from growing up in Florida, similar upbring.
It was interesting that after the MACO complained of a headache and Phylox talking to T'Pol, T'Pol wanted to regain control of the situation with Tucker.
She was afterall being quite intimate with him, she had in her own mind taken ownership of Tucker's affection. She told him to not to any furthe neuropressure treatment with anyone else.
Then Tucker not to control recognized her jealousy for what it was. He told her how he recognized the nuances in her behavior and knew how she was feeling, she tried to deny it, but couldn't.
She then turned the table on him, telling him about what Sim told her, about how Tucker felt about her. She gets him to admit it by the same method he used.
Basically she was jealous and he cares for her (Love each other).
She further takes control of the situation by stripping down and kissing him, thus initiating their love making.
The later scene we see T'Pol sitting down crossing her legs like she's the queen bee. She's in control.
When Tucker tries to talk about what happen. She dismisses him by saying ot was part of her study on understanding humans.
It was a classic Woman vs Man, who is going to be in control
For T'Pol, she is a Vulcan, personal control is everything.
She lost control when she became jealous of the MACO woman, she let her defenses down, got hit watching her instead of paying attention to what she was doing.
She showed her lost of control to Tucker who recognize her jealousy. Tucker thought he was in control because he knew how she felt about him.
She began to regain control by telling him she already knew how he felt about her. She took control by recognizing the situation was right for her to make her move for human contact. She was the one to initiate the next step in their relationship.
Finally she is in control of their relationship once again
She knows he wants her company (neuropressure treatments)
She can now determine when or if they will do it again.
She has control, and that's what being a Vulcan is all about.

I thought the last scene between Tucker and T'Pol was interesting inside -- talon, 23:23:55 02/15/04 Sun
T'Pol was hiding her emotions behind the cup. She is now fully aware that Tucker can read her pretty good when he wants to.
She tries to play down the night time activities in an effort to regain control of her emotions and herself. She had the apperance that she is finding it difficult to control herself around him.
She tells him it was sort of like an experiment to further her understanding of Humans. Implying that she's not interested in further coupling.
Watching the T'Pol eyes as she responds to Tucker as she is drinking her tea, she keeps loking at him and then the cup as though she is trying to pull a fast one on Tucker.
When Tucker tells her he doesn't mind foregoing the night time activity as long as he still can have the neuropressure treatments. He likes being with her.
But it's hard to tell how happy T'Pol is about this, more intimacy, possibliy more night time activity, more lost of control.
Does she want more or is she dreading it?
Does she want control or to lose herself with him?
Is this all about the idea that they may never return from their mission?
