Fan Fiction Challenge

I know there aren't very many of us who post on this board yet, but one of you is bound to be creative (or at least more than me!)

I would really like to see an alternate ending-type fic for "Unexpected": What if Trip had had to carry the baby to full-term? It could be that the crew didn't find the Zirillians or that when they did find them, he was too far along to transfer the fetus, or some other scenario. His is an interesting character, and I would have loved to have seen his reactions if the story had been taken further.

I'd write it myself, but my hands are full with student teaching and a Voyager story I've been working on for 6 months. If you write such a story, or find one elsewhere, e-mail me.

(Hey -- Michelle -- Maybe everyone could write it together, a la JAGnik central round robins LOL)

[> A round robin is a good idea! If everyone else likes it, and we can agree on a time -- then I say -- let's do it! When is good for everyone? CHime in! And for those who may not be familiar with the concept -- we start with a premise (Emily's, in this instance --- that Trip carries the baby to term) and we "run" with it by each posting a line or two of our "story" one after the other.
