Author: Lost and Spacie
Subject: Hey, Found this info over at the Trek Today Board or whatever you call it...LOL!

Ep Title: Silent Enemy
Ep # 112 (WHY do they always start numbering in the hundreds, anyway??????)

Orgininal Airdate: January 16, 2002

Written by: Andre Bormanis

Notes: Rumoured to feature an unknown ship trailing the Enterprise, not responding to any attempst to communicate. Completely outclassed, Archer orders the Enterprise to return to Jupiter to install the cannons that Starfleet was unable to install becasue of the ship's swift departure to Qo'nos. But even as the ship ruses back to Jupiter, Tucker and Reed work overtie to try and install the weapons themselves and get some kind of defense against the alien ship, which is continuing its stealth attacks.

Dominic Keating: "We've got one episode coming up, 'Silent Enemy,' where we kick some serious butt."

THEN The NEXT episode thing says:

Ep Title: Dear Doctor
Ep # 113

Orig. Airdate: 23 Jan 2002

Note: Features the first mention of the Ferengi.

Rumoured to feature the Enterprise encounering the planet Valakis, containing a pre-warp civilizaton inhabited by two alien races. The planet suffers from an unknown disease that is killing the population, and Captain Archer quickly agrees to help find a cure. But when the Aliens also ask for the secret of warp technology he is not so sure, and finally begins to realize the Vulcans may also have been right in not giving humans warp technology. Also rumoured to feature a romance for Dr. Phlox.
----------------

I don't know... Both of these sound KIND of like eps that have already aired.

I have NO idea if the info on this site is ANYTHING more then RUMOUR, or if ANY of the info is correct. It DOES say things like, "Rumoured to.... etc."

Anyway... just a few crumbs for the starving Enterprise fans... me being one of them. Perhaps we could DISCUSS???????

TUOODLES!!!!

[> [> You know me --- long posts are perfectly welcome! LOL! Seriously! I also wish that they'd sometimes come up with more original/haven't-been-done-before kinds of eps......but having different characters deal with situations similar to those that other characters have had to deal with can be interesting too. *IF* they have a new twist or a different outcome. Like Frances, I'm interested in seeing how the "Prime Directive" evolves. I am thinking that Archer & Co. are going to be making several significant boo-boos when they "helpfully" interfere with other cultures. That'll not only make them think about protocols when dealing with others; but will perhaps give them a better understanding/respect for the cautious Vulcans. -- MichelleB, 21:52:57 12/21/01 Fri

[> Glad to see the are coming to grips with the prime directive, finanlly. And they need big guns--"Fly silently & carry a really big weapon" Troosevlt of Vulcan. -- Frances, 06:06:52 12/19/01 Wed

[> That is, "they" need to deal with it. Actually, there are several issues to clear up! Hierachy, ship safety, environmental protection, roles of women in their societies, etc, etc, etc...the list is longggggg! -- Frances, 06:11:07 12/19/01 Wed

[> Well, one thing I'm finding.... and perhaps this has been in ALL the ST shows and it is just dawning on me now... It SEEMS they keep rehashing (at least parts) of the same story. When I was retyping this over here, I kept thinking... This IS a new EP, right.... The part about the mysterious illnesss killing people on the planet? They've done that TWICE already. The cave people dieing for radiation, and the people on the planet that Archer smootched the woman on were dieing because of some "mysterious" ailment caused by the reactor thing..... MAN... The enterprise is the ST equivalent to Little Joe Cartright proposing marriage!!! LOL! ALSO... the above mentions something about a ship shadowing or stalking them... etc. They JUST DID THAT! The invisible ship guys that was hiding in their exhaust.. remember? GOSH... Am I being picky? I don't remember thinking this before. Oh well. I REALLY enjoy the show, no matter. I HOPE that TRIP gets more screen time... I think he -- is going to come out as the real star attraction. Lost and Spacie having had way, Way, WAY too much caffiene this a.m.!!!!, 08:47:58 12/19/01 Wed

[> Rehashing episodes is de rigeur for ST! Just parade out the alien babes(male) & I'll be happy! Some morecheesecake shots of the male crew wouldn't go amiss either! -- Frances-My husband better get home early tonight!, 07:50:34 12/20/01 Thu

[> To answer your rhetorical question, ST (and I suppose other shows) assigns production numbers to each episode. TNG, Voyager and Enterprise each began with 101 (actually the 2-hour pilots were in the 720s). DS9 had to be different, though: its production numbers began with 401. There. More than anyone ever wanted to know!! BTW, when I was a kid, I memorized all the prod. #s for TNG :) -- Emily H., 16:32:34 12/20/01 Thu
