Subject: Finally watched the last two weeks eps(but taped this week)!

I am really liking this show....moral dilemas, good character developement, nice pacing, and (drumroll, please)
good looking crew! Dr. Flox is much cooler that Nellix. I'm beginning to like Hoshi...at first, she was a whiner, but I'm coming around. Of course Trip & Archer have won me over, and T'Pol is getting points, just cuz she's Vulcan. But lose the spandex-would a highly evolved race need to display their "wares", I think not. Go for comfortable & show your sexiness from the inside. This being a much harder thing to do, for an actor, so they go for cheesecake. Or maybe the Vulcans evolved past this state in the next few years, because in the later ST's, this was so! Now I really what to know more about Reed! Tell me more about him...His voice/accent makes me drool.
What can they do with him.....obviously, he has closeness issues! We have a man who's father is pissed at him for joing Starfleet, not The Royal Navy, a mom who hasn't a clue, a self-involved best friend, and a sister who can't be bothered......weird.Typical dysfunctional family.
Work with me here!

[> I really liked the ep with the "Prime Directive" thing --- it was thought-provoking and well scripted & acted. I like the Dr. also. I liked how they did the ep as him writing to a human colleague back home. I *did* think that thing between T'Pol and Hoshi in the last ep was a bit odd. Given T'Pol's reluctance to view humans as "good enough" or whatever, it struck me as a bit precipitous that she'd be offering to teach Hoshi "stuff". I LIKE it that she offered --- but it just seemed to come out of the blue. -- MichelleB, 19:22:55 02/01/02 Fri

[> [> I think T'Pol is getting use to being around humans. She also probably figures she will reduce all the tension around her if she's a little more socialable. I think the Doctor talked to her a few episodes back about welcoming the diversity of all things, one of the things Vulcans seek. Also being female on a ship of mostly males she probably needs another female to bond with. Hoshi does speak Vulcan. I'm sure she's trying to fit in as one of the crew. -- talon, 00:11:31 02/02/02 Sat

[> If T'Pol is planning a lenghty stay- she'd realize some changes were in order, for everyone. Hoshi seems to be the "gobetween', the counselor role, in this crew. So she'd the one I'd go to(Maybe---after Archer, Trip, Reed and Merriweather!)Not in RL, but in my dreams! -- Frances, 06:01:20 02/05/02 Tue
