I can't believe how fast time goes by, it just seemed like yesterday when she was married in Real Life. I was there for her wedding in December 1991. I was the limousine chauffeur!
Jensen is the best person I have ever met! She autographed a newspaper clipping and I was lucky enough to get her picture -- To think I was that close (less than 5 feet away) and she just smiled at me just before walking down the aisle on her wedding day as I snapped a quick picture of her. I will never forget!

I think Jensen Buchanan gave quite a chilling performance as she recounted to Lt. Taggert about her personal justification for assisting the dying on GH the other day. I thought her lighting candles for the dead and offering to be cuffed in the shadow of the cross showed how good GH can be with a talented actress to handle the material. I am really sorry that GH could not find a way to work the character of Melissa into its scripts more effectively. They are losing one heckuva great actress! It will be interesting to see how her departure will affect the characters of Roy and Edward Quartermaine, especially the latter when he finds out what Melissa was trying to do. I just don't want to hear Skye say "I told you so!" Brava, Jensen, for a spectacular performance, one to be very proud of.

I agree Jensen has done a wonderful job with her last few scenes. The scene where she told Roy he was a "judas" we're award-winning to me. I admire her giving it her all and giving a spiritually powerful performance even though she is leaving. However, yet again they wrote her character into a corner making it difficult for it to continue. I am sad that she is leaving and still hope perhaps they (GH) will figure out their loss and ask her back. I did not think her and Roy were boring and I loved the bear scene and the love scenes were tender not boring. Get a clue. Jensen and A Martinez are great at the unsaid, unspoken looks, and I thought they still somehow managed to bring out a story that was never really developed. Part of GH's downfall for this character was taking two fairly new character's and trying to not include them with the the longer term stories. They did this a little at the end and see how much more interesting things got. I even liked her character development more now, such as when I saw the scene where Bobbie was saying goodbye to Melissa it brought home to me how much more genuine the character is and how much more interesting than Bobbie who's character is deterioriating.

Tuedays General Hospital episode definately showed the kind of actress Jensen can be. Its disappointing that they waited so long to give her good material to work with.
Sure hope she goes to a show I watch, would love for her to rejoin One Life to Live but like you said, she lives in L.A. Alot of actors are leaving Young & Restless, it would be great if she got a part there. Don't think much of Bold and Beautiful but would watch it if Jensen was on! Will follow her wherever...

I think you are right about everything else being pale compared to her role in Another World! She was so great in that show! I read where Jensen loves General Hospital and the actors she works with. They should have brought her on the show as a relative to one of the main characters, with a better storyline. What a shame.. I do believe everything happens for a reason and as talented and gorgeous as Jensen is, she won't have any problems finding another job.

Right on! Jensen is way too talented to have gotten stuck with the storyline they gave her and A on General Hospital. Buchanan is the best and most talented female daytime star and should be treated as such. Another World and As The World Turns understood and appreciated her popularity and her talent. As soon as the soaps here she is released from GH, the phone calls will be flooding in from producers who realize what she is really worth. I doubt that it will happen, but I would love to see Jensen back at ATWT some how or even on a new soap she could carry, because she could do it! Good luck, Jensen!

I hope Jensen knows that her fans are 100% behind her, whatever she does and wherever she goes.. Personally, I will only watch General Hospital while she is still on, after that I'm gone! The executives at this show that are responsible for her departure must be dumber than I thought. Jensen and A were absolutely WONDERFUL in their short scene on Friday!!! They both seemed so happy and comfortable with one another. Personally, I don't see how anybody can not see the chemistry between them. I hate the latest rumors--and am still hoping things will get better. They are SO good together. All they need is some airtime and a story. I just emailed ABC about that--and hope many other people do too.

IMO If GH does not take full advantage of these two wonderful actors, it will truly be a short-sighted very FOOLISH mistake.

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving (yeah, I know I'm a little late...sorry!) And to let you all know that the rumors concerning Jensen leaving GH are NOT true as far as I have been able to find out. In fact, the manager of the MelRo Club (which is an awesome site, I recommend you all join the club!!) received an e-mail from A Martinez (Roy) saying that Roy was finally getting some good storylines. The e-mail did not mention Melissa, but I am assuming it means that Melissa will be getting a better story, as she and Roy are directly connected. That is only my speculation...we'll just have to watch and see!! :)

I've heard the same thing, Joanne. I really hope it's not true, although I can certainly understand why she wouldn't be happy - Melissa has no good storyline! I'm sick of all this Cassadine stuff! I want more Melissa and Roy. They could become one of the best couples on the show if they would just have a decent story! Hi everyone! I just discovered this sight and hopefully i will be able to check it out regularly now! I watched Jensen on AW and LOVED her and Tom Eplin together!! They got me hooked on the whole soap genre and are my all-time favourite actor & actress in anything! I am an avid ATWT watcher now and thoroughly enjoyed when she was on that show. I now occasionally watch her on GH, but I think the writers need to give her some meaty storylines so that she can show all of her new fans how incredibly talented she really is. But I guess that's just my opinion!

Just wanted to add my sentiments on this board--Jensen Buchanan is one of the only reasons to watch GH these days. Her scenes both with and without A Martinez are awesome!! I wish GH writers would wisen up and give her a more solid storyline of her own rather than bits and pieces of everyone else's stories. Still, as long as she has screen time at all, I'll keep watching! BTW, speaking of screen time, how about that shower scene? That was so romantic, not to mention hot! :-)

I just read a spoiler that said Melissa and Roy are going to make love on the 26th - that's next Friday! I'm so excited - those two make me so happy, especially the scenes from yesterday when Roy told her he loved her and kissed her hand...I must have pressed re-wind a thousand times to watch that scene again!! I'm obsessed, I know!! Can't wait for the 26th!!! :-)

Is A ever going to smile when he's with Jensen. I think they should put her with someone else that's just my opinion.
