You say here that 74m is being retired, and yet you have invented 92g which depends on 74m - why?

Good point, however, my brief was to solve the existing three problems with 74m, which is what I have done. There was no requirement to incorporate 74m's retirement into my solution.

74m, is being retired, and I believe I will receive that memo on my desk next week. Prior to 92g, we would have phased out 74m over a one year period, but now that 92g is dependent upon it, 92g will have to be phased out first.

Here is the unofficial timeline for 92g's phase out -

2006-2016 Consume 10,000,000 copies of 92g - 10 years
2013 Start planning phase out of electronic edition of 92g
2015 Move wharehouse staff back to IT in preperation for retirement of hardcopy 92g
2016 New IT staff, develop software to phase out 92g
2018 92g phase out software complete
2020 92g electronic edition phase out starts
2022 92g electronic edition phase out ends

So 22 years from start to finish, a great leap in efficiency from previous phase outs, I think you'll agree.
