(He stood there in a mixture of shock, pride and amusement at her behavior as she first apologized for a purely accidental and natural occurance and then tried to walk away from him. The most amusing part was the frightened look on the intern's face as he tried to figure out what to tell the president about the carpet.. though Remy knew the whole thing would be taken care of and no one would be the wiser for it. He shared a look with Kate before slipping his hand into hers and walking with her out to the car, calling out some orders to the men as the one in the drivers seat got out and left the door open for him. He paused when she did and shifted just in time to get his arm around her.. his hand met hers on her stomach and through it he could feel the contractions that were happening against against his chest he could feel the tension in her back.. it was as though he was experiencing it as well and it both bothered and overwhelmed him to know she was experiencing thing.) Easy Shay baby.. (He murmured to her, realizing that reassurance would be the best thing.. )

She turned, burying her face in his chest as she tried not to let her knee's give out on her, the pain nearly driving her to her knee's. It was as if her baby had been patient all day and was now just pissed about still being in her belly. She attempted to take slow even breaths like they had told her to do in lamaze class but all she really wanted to do was scream as her fingers clenched in his shirt, twisting there as she hid her face. There was no way she was letting go of him so he had better make someone else drive and suddenly she realized she should probably say that outloud. "Someone else drive." She stated, breathless with a little sweat breaking out on her forehead as the contraction passed.
