(He laughed as he held her, tipping his head to the side so that his cheek rested in her hair, his eyes watching their reflection in the metal elevator doors.) Of course we can stop at Rally's.. I haven't been there in ages.. (He murmured, his hands playing subconsciously over her stomach. He had a way of reacting to life's events in predictable ways.. they just made him think, that was all. Now that his mind was on baby's he was automatically thinking about what it would be like to have a baby of his own.. and of course there was only one woman in the world that he would trust enough with his heart to be the mother of his children. When the doors opened, he held them for the elderly couple and then slipped his hand into hers and walked with her out to the car, holding her door for her before getting in and driving away...) (There was a tender expression in his eyes as he shifted to take little Chase from her, the baby's eyes were closed and it would only be a moment more before he had a feeling Shay's would be too. He laid the baby out in the plastic basinette they had brought into the room and laid a blanket over him, pulling it over so that it was close enough that Shay could see Chase.) I am just glad she thought of that. (He murmured as he came back to her, dragging a chair with him and flopping down into it after he pressed a kiss to her cheek.) It's funny.. but I dont feel any older, even though I have this whole new appreciation for what my parents went through. (He admitted, running a hand back through his shaggy hair and then joining both hands behind his head and lounging comfortably.)
