(He watched her with love in his eyes as she tended their son.. she might worry about her ability to be a mother, but when it came down to it she was beautiful and amazing. He sighed at her words of dismissal and tried not to feel like it wasn't enough.. he was still a bastard for having dont it.. it was much too soon for her and he could have seriously hurt her. He held a hand out in invitation to her and when she came over to the bed he gathered her up in the shelter of his arms, her back against his chest. He pulled the blanket up around her and held the two of them, looking down at his son as he nursed, his hands on Shay's stomach. He turned his head and pressed a kiss to her cheek.) Sometimes when I am with you I just stop thinking.. I don't mean to, it's like the need to be with you makes everything else shut off inside me..
